Beam Lifting System

Shown here are the Pulleys we use to support Beam Antennas from a pair of tall trees. The lines over the trees support the top line (shortened for the photo). The Pulleys provide a 3:1 lifting advantage and a swivel for the beam to freely rotate. Beam rotation is controlled by a small line to the boom's end. The top line is made long enough for the lifting line to come down clearing the longest antenna element tip.
