• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science
• Master's degree in Computer Science
• Employed at Lawrence Berkeley National Lab's Advanced Light Source
• Lead the Emergency Communications group at the Lab (ECARG)
• Organizer of the High Sierra Field Day group since 1976
• Enjoy camping, photography, portable radio operating
