Revision [1845]

Most recent edit made on 2007-06-10 18:33:56 by AlanB [fix flex link]

Additions:
More recently I have been comparing it to the Flex SDR-1000 in my shack. (For more info on the Flex see Sdr1000Notes.) The Flex sounds better and has wider adjustable bandwidth, but the ProIII does very well and taking the Pro to field is a lot easier. I probably would not take the Flex to Field Day, but I do take the ProIII.

Icom 756 Pro III HF Transceiver

High Performance HF Transceiver

Icom upgraded their already excellent 756 Pro II and came out with the ProIII a few years ago. I decided to upgrade and have been enjoying the improved RF performance (hardly need Preamps now), and the 60 meter coverage.
